A 17.4 kW photovoltaic power plant with two arrays has been designed for a villa. The challenging issue in the power plant design is to attain the maximum capacity factor with the lowest possible effect on the villa appearance. The fixed PV array is mounted on the southwest roof area in a way to preserve maximum electricity generation with a satisfactory change on villa façade. The second array is equipped with solar tracker to gain the maximum efficiency and prepare the roofed parking lots.
